Windsor’s Big Lunch – the longest lunch!

June 5

Sunday is Big Lunch day in Windsor we are going to make this a very special event. Our theme for the Sunday is the Commonwealth. We need the help of you all to create the longest picnic table ever – one very long table running from Cambridge Gate, down the Long Walk towards the Copper Horse!

Every year since The Big Lunch began in 2009 it encouraged communities to celebrate their connections and get to know each other a little bit better, coming together in a spirit of fun and friendship.

So we invite the local community to join us to share friendship, food and fun. Gather friends and family and bring your union jack flags and picnic together around our giant screens so you can enjoy watching the national Platinum Pageant, which promises to be a spectacular parade, combining street arts, theatre, music, circus, carnival and costume.

Everyone in the local community is invited to join in the fun and celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in style.
