Windsor and Eton Choral Society Jubilee Concert

March 19 @ 19:30 - 22:00

The Windsor and Eton Choral Society and Prince Philip Trust Fund are jointly hosting a Jubilee Concert on Saturday 19th March 2022 at 7.30pm at St George’s Chapel, Windsor.

The programme is of British music starting with Benjamin Britten’s stirring arrangement of The National Anthem.

The works that follow are by some of our most illustrious composers; Sir Edward Elgar, Hubert Parry and Ralph Vaughan Williams whose Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis is preceded by the choir singing Tallis’s arrangement of Psalm 2 which is the theme used for this work.

Some of the items have particular Royal connections having been sung at Coronations including 1953 and other special occasions. The programme is a very appropriate contribution to Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

TICKET UPDATE 14.2.22 – this Concert is now SOLD OUT
