On the evening of Friday 3rd June St George’s Chapel was the magnificent venue for the sellout Windsor Platinum Jubilee Concert. Compered by Petroc Trelawny, radio and television presenter, an array of talented musicians entertained the audience with a spectacular programme including the world premiere of Cecilia McDowall’s Jubilate Deo. The Orpheus Sinfonia was conducted by Oliver Gooch and included performances from soprano Miriam Allan and Windsor’s own Tom Lilburn, counter-tenor. The Windsor Jubilee Singers were made up of choristers from the Cantorum Choir, Quire Voices, Voci and the Windsor and Eton Choral Society, with performances also by the Taplow Young Voices.
