Queen Elizabeth II was born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary of the House of Windsor on 21 April 1926. The Queen’s actual birthday is marked by a series of gun salutes. There’s a 41 gun salute in Hyde Park, a 21 gun salute in Windsor Great Park, and a 62 gun salute at the Tower of London. Aside from the multiple gun salutes to mark the occasion, The Queen mostly celebrates their actual birthday privately with family.
