Please come along and enjoy the Jubilee Party in the Park in the magnificent surroundings of the Long Walk. The day which will run from 11am through to the evening, and you are welcome to come along for as long as you wish. Bring your picnic blankets, tables/chairs, and your own picnics or enjoy the food and refreshments which will be available from stalls on the Long Walk on the day (see details below).
There will be a fantastic array of cars, organised by Car and Classic, with one from every year from 1952 to 2022. 70 cars have been selected to represent each year of The Queen’s reign which will be displayed in the beautiful surroundings of the Long Walk by their owners.
The degree of technological advancement in the last 7 decades will be visible and comparisons easy to see with innovations identifiable, how many will you be able to recognise, name or know someone who once owned one! There will also be some Royal and vintage RAC emergency vehicles on display.
A variety of performances will be taking place on stage during the day commencing at 11am through to 7.30pm, performers will include Maidenhead Tuneless Choir, Susan Handy Dance, Joanna Henwood Opera, Soul Works, Windsor Rock Choir, Swing and Concert Band, and a special performance of the Windsor Platinum Jubilee Schools’ song, created here in Windsor by local school children. Big screens will show events taking place in London, whilst you enjoy the fabulous surroundings of the Long Walk.
Gather friends and family and bring your union jack flags to gather around our cinema screens so you can enjoy watching the national Platinum Party at the Palace in the evening, staged by the BBC that will bring together some of the world’s biggest entertainment stars to celebrate the most significant and joyous moments from The Queen’s seven decade reign.

Bring your picnic along from 11am and you are welcome to stay through to the evening, to watch the live broadcast of the Party at the Palace on cinema screens. Expected end time is 10.45pm.
They will be on display from 11am until 4pm.
This is not an open car display, 70 cars have been chosen and careful arrangements made for their display on the Long Walk. Therefore it will not be possible for any other cars to added on the day, but do come along on foot with your picnic and enjoy viewing the cars which will be on show.
No tickets are required, the day is completely free. Just come along with your picnic blanket/tables/chairs and your picnic to enjoy the day.
Yes, you are very welcome to bring your own picnics.
Yes, the following food traders will be operating on a cash/card basis, on Saturday and Sunday:
We do have an onsite bar provided by Windsor & Eton Brewery selling a selection of beer, wine and soft drinks. However you are free to bring your own with you, but please be considerate as this is a family event and we do ask that you to drink responsibly.
You can purchase water in bottles from the food and beverage traders. We are working to try and ensure there is free drinking water onsite but cannot confirm at this stage.
It is anticipated there will be many visitors attending the Windsor Platinum Jubilee weekend events, and we would suggest using public transport, walking and cycling where possible.

Windsor Great Park car parks will also be open as usual.
No. Cycling is not permitted on The Long Walk.
The Long Walk is a hard, smooth tarmac surface with a slight incline at the Cambridge gate end. During the weekend the catering, toilets and entertainment will be on a grass surface which, whilst being flat and mown, may become difficult for wheel chair access in wet conditions. Events are entirely outdoors and access to the Long Walk is on foot.
This is an outdoor event so do bring your sunshades/umbrellas with you. There are plenty of beautiful trees that you can shelter under from the sunshine and that may provide some protection from the rain.
Yes there are toilets, including disabled, available onsite at various locations on the Long Walk.
Yes, waste recycling and disposal is available and we aim to make our celebrations as environmentally sound, as possible. We need your help in this. Please see our Green Policy on the website and bring only what you need, dispose of items carefully, then take it everything else away with you.
Yes, there will be 4 onsite first aiders should anyone need assistance. If you require help simply notify a volunteer, Royal Borough Ambassador or a member of the security team who are identifiable with their high vis tabards.
The lost and found area will be located in the operations marquee behind the main stage in School Field. If you have lost someone please notify a member of the volunteer team, identifiable with their high vis tabards, as soon as possible and they will alert the whole team.
Yes, but their job is ensuring the safety of guests and any professional equipment. Any personal property you bring with you, you do so at your own risk.
Yes, dogs are welcome on The Long Walk, with owners requested to ensure their dogs are well behaved and kept on a lead.
Yes, we encourage you to take your own photographs to capture the momentous occasion but ask that you be respectful of those around you, especially if you share images on social media. Do remember to tag us in your photos as we’d love to see them – @jubileewindsor
Yes, we do expect the press and media to be present so please be aware there is the possibility you may be photographed or filmed.
The Windsor Platinum Jubilee Celebrations have been planned, organised and are being run entirely voluntarily, so do please be kind, patient and treat all volunteers with respect whilst they try to make everyone’s weekend an enjoyable one. Please do your part to make these community celebrations a success and if you are able to contribute in any way, this is hugely appreciated.
