Platinum Jubilee Wheelchair Basketball Tournament

June 2 @ 08:00 - June 3 @ 17:00

The Windsor Monarchs – the local Wheelchair Basketball Team established in 2019 – is thrilled to be joining in the celebrations of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by hosting an exciting Wheelchair Basketball Tournament.

The first tournament of its kind, The Platinum Jubilee Wheelchair Basketball Tournament is being hosted by ACS International School Egham – on its championship-sized multimillion-pound courts – across 2nd and 3rd June.

Teams of seven – made up of British Wheelchair Basketball registered players and those with some experience – are encouraged to sign-up now to this free, fun Festival of Basketball in honour of the great Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign.

Games will last ten minutes and medals will be available for all.

A street party atmosphere will prevail with the serving of a traditional afternoon tea and teams are encouraged to look their patriotic best.

A refundable deposit of £50 is all that’s needed to sign-up. Please write to: [email protected]
